Lino Cut, to Fabric Print, to 3d Texture, to 2d Work.

Well I've been meaning to do this for ages..... a few months ago I did a fabric printing workshop, using lino cuts.  It was great fun. I wanted to take it one step further and make a texture I could use in my three dee work. Originally I thought I would put it on fabric, but changed my mind and came up with this. The original fabric is a big nod to Escher. You can see the fabric I printed here if you like. Click. Please click image for big. The workshops are here if you live in Oz.

  2. Can definitely see the Escher - this looks so realistic, like this man-doll came to life and is checking out his new surroundings!
