A Quick Defence of The Innocent

Now how much of my tax did I get done today?
Not much. :)
I kept hearing this little girl's voice in my head.
For some reason she was quite upset.
Her name is Griselda.
Just look at her! She is obviously innocent of any wrong-doing (see previous post).
Except making my tax return late.
(Mind you, I have to have a word with her hairdresser.)

Thanks for looking. Clicking for big gives you a halo.

  1. I love the vegetation. She looks very innocent and her halo is spotless and she is surrounded by birds. Birds only go with innocent people. Now. Don't read this. Finish your tax returns.

  6. AHAHAHAHA.... that little 'peek up the skirt' incident must have stuck in your head all day for you to make a quick (and brilliant!) follow up like this!!

Poor Griselda, at least you've done her justice now... Heehehehehhee... :D

  7. Oh, yes... the halo is ever so convincing!

  8. Love the halo and the birds Andrew. You must be a procrastinator too. I tend to put off things that I loath doing, like taxes, arggggh... much rather be drawing, painting, well just about anything else really.

  9. Finish your taxes so you can play again and please change that avatar. She looks like a trauma patient!

  13. She's fabulous. So what if her mother put a bowl on her head to trim her bangs. It happens to all of us at one time or another! She's adorable!

You always seem to be reinventing your blog and photo. I love that. I got started blogging, said "whew, that's done..." and never want to fiddle with it again. Guess I should revisit my decision someday.

  14. Andrew, the HEADER is fabulous. You can shrink it to fit so that it will fit perfectly in that template. I love your new header. I love how you change your header all the time. I used to do that. Hahahaha!

  16. Hello everyone, well I still havn't finished the tax :) Argh. I keep finding properties in Jamaica and stuff that I forgot about declaring. Plus our Pirate ship the "Bucannear' made a profit this year - again. Ugh I can't eve spell it.

    Heh.

Thanks Martine and Ces and Amalia - it did really worry me, the underwear stuff. But you know what? I realised it wasn't griselda's crying I could hear - but I'f locked another three kids in the basement last week and forgotten about them ;)

Hi Karen and Amanda, and Roberto. I modelled the halo after mine. It was a hard job, because mine is slumped in the middle.

Roberto, I really did like that small ceramic. I wouldn't say if I didn't.

Hi Mita, you always get singled out. I have packed up a halo and am sending it via Sunda Kelapa?) this arvo - as we say in OZ. I did think I ever thanked you for your kind comments on my blog, did I?

Hello Robyn and Elizabeth. You know, bowl cuts are all the rigor at the moment. We have to blame one of the three stooges I think (Mo?).

Elizabeth, I confess to be a procrastinator. I change my picture all the time because err :)

Hi Ces, thanks for noticing the header. I don't know how to get it to fit? Do I need to look at the html code? I haven't had much of a chance to play with the blog parameters yet.

I changed my pic. Hope it's better?

    see you

    andrew :)

Ooh if you know how to . make it fit...please let me know. I find my header a tad too big too, but don't want to start making changing in it, because well I need to work on other stuff first haha!

    Good luck with your taxes!!
Ciao (if I write chow...I think of chow mei or something...that's food...then I'm hungry, but I'm to lazy to get up...)

  32. Hello TJ and MIta and Diana and Ces and my Landlady,

Thankyou for your kindness in visiting and commenting. And Ces thanks for the kind words. I am no longer scared of the landlady but I do have a thing for curlers!

    Heh :).

Amalia, you as the Zombie girl? I must admit that it is me but I will trade. :) Ofrcourse you can be the Zombie girl.

Ces Mita it's great how your persona's change. But Sir Reginald Fardewhashgandtandstan would appear to me to be an imposter of Rank?

    I'm not sure ;D

A, Mita, I know my english is bad but Saya berlatih indonesia saya setiap hari, tepat sebelum aku mengambil lilin dari telingaku. Aku allways memastikan tidak ada otak merembes melalui sesudahnya dan jatuh di rumput. Jika itu terjadi aku akan kurang cerdas dengan sepuluh gram. Yang akan membuat saya minus sepuluh gram bodoh!

  33. Hello my ever changing friend! Every time I stop by, you are wearing a new face. Do you have multiple personalities as well? Love the new header!
You did a great job in your defense of Griselda. I knew she looked too innocent to be guilty. You should have been a lawyer.
I could see you dazzling the courtroom with defense theory illustrations. ... and since your face is always changing... the defendants would think they have a whole team of lawyers........Finnie and Finnie and Finnie and Finnie.

  35. I know my English is bad but I practice Indonesian every day, right before I took the wax from my ears. I always make sure that no brain seep through and fell on the grass afterwards. If that happens I'll be less intelligent with ten grams. That would make me minus ten grams stupid!

    im using google translate...

  36. @ Mita & Andrew: Hehehe that is an interesting piece of text....

  37. Aww, Griselda. She has a cute as a button nose. Sociopaths are very good at looking innocent and sweet.

What? The Landlady asked you to shrink that thing? Wouldn't be the first time she's asked....

    Ahem, well....

  38. Hello Mister Finnie,

Where was that nurse you promised? Oh look! Mita looks like a terrorist's hostage, or maybe she is playing a wicked game.

Ahem, what is Bella talking about? The landlady was referring to the header...

  39. Ach! Oooh you gave me an opening but I must not bite...must refrain self from talking bait...

  40. this is wonderful, Andrew ... and as always, I find the close-ups even more fascinating than the wide view. I think it's because you work with such detail, and so many rich little details, I can't get close enough to enjoy them!

I promise to get my prescription checked (uh, eyeglass prescription, not my meds).

    Nice new avatar!

  44. Ahh I was lost and now I is found :)

    The surf was rocking today.

Jack an Bella and Ces and TJ and Mita and Justin, now you are making my face laugh. You know how bad that is for your face.

You know its a well known fact that Choco Cannel didn't smile or even laugh for the last fifteen years of her life. And she looked just great in the movie I saw the other night. (She really looked like Audrey Tatoo (Tautau? Totau? Well you know. actually )

Mita your hair looks great. Thanks for translating by the way.

    It's cold here.

  45. Hi Andrew, Apologies for my absence for so long....

Thanks for the KIP award (>< ) and all your comments :-), you are right as usual, including your politically incorrect post!

I like the Goldfinches in the corner of this image! Also your header looks great and is good fun. Oh, and remember to brush your remaining teeth.

Yes I need to do more, but it's a bit hectic at the moment and I just can't focus. Soon, I hope...

Enjoy the surf and see you soon...
